Warm-water shrimp are found in tropical and subtropical waters of the Indian and Pacific Oceans. Whiteleg shrimp got its name from the little white legs . Also, you can often hear that this kind of shrimp is called Royal . This name " stuck " to them because of the size , which is usually much more than the well-known cold-water shrimp.
